Dana Sastre is senior analyst at Cost Control Associates. She provides ongoing energy bill analysis and review services to a variety of clients. Using analytical reports, she identifies billing and rate errors, negotiates and secures refunds, recommends and implements cost reductions. She explores alternative cost-saving rate plans, makes recommendations and confirms correct implementation. Dana also leads implementation for invoice processing and payment clients.
“I enjoy getting to know my clients and getting the information and response they need from their utility companies,” says Dana. “When I find a mysterious or erroneous charge on a client’s invoice, I push for answers from the utility company to get the refunds and cost savings my customers deserve. I feel good when I can get the information they need when they need it. The best part of my job is delivering the good news that I’ve saved them money!”
Dana Sastre is a 2017 graduate of William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ. She graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in mathematics. She was on the dean’s list and a member of the Pi Mu Epsilon National Honorary Mathematics Society.
